Chris Cass from BPS met with the residents at Mountain View today and gave the following updates on the new construction: Interior and exterior framing continues. Roughing in for electrical, plumbing and sprinkler system has begun as well as running of ductwork for the heat and air conditioning. It is hoped to have heat on in the East Wing by Thanksgiving. There were 551 windows delivered last week, and they will start being installed next week. Laying of brick veneer on the back of East Wing began this week. Vinyl siding colors have been chosen. The top color will be a dark creamy/mustard color with the bottom being a light grey. It is anticipated to start putting the vinyl siding up around Thanksgiving. Elevator shafts are in. Roof top units were delivered today. Trusses for the core will be put up next week. There were 63 works onsite this week. In response to a resident question, he stated closet dimensions are 2 feet deep by 4 feet wide. |
